im thinking of getting my boy done as hes very - how can i put this flirty but only with me ! latelly
his hormones are all over the place and i dont want himtrying it on with the puppy!

what age is bet to get him done or is their no age limit 4 males!   Hes 10 months

Thats really up to you when you want to have him done...Me personally I don't really see the need to fix a male (yes I have fixed 2 out of 3 but wont do it any more unless I have to) but if you are planning on it then I would wait till he is fully grown so he has the time to mature and fill out properly.

They do mark less and I do find they are less dominant when fixed, oya and no worries about them wanting to wonder for that bitch in heat and getting a bitch bred if fixed. lol :D

just because they are fixed does not mean they will not try humping, I have a bitch and dog fixed and they still hump when playing, I just tell them off and they stop real fast lol :D

At the moment he is becoming a teenager, and his hormone levels are about 4 times as high as an adult's. (It's just the same for humans!) If you wait until he is mature (about another 12 months) you will see his true character emerge as the hormones settle down, and he will probably be a nice steady normal male, who doesn't want to hump everything. It is extremely unusual for this behaviour to continue past adolescence, even in stud dogs.

IMO castration should not take place before the dog is fully mature, at least 2.
Castration may well not stop the problem you are complaining off, it may even make it worse.
There is a possibility if you give it time the pup will grow into the lovely dogs you hoped for when you bought him.
Early castration will, whether you realise it or not, change your dog, who will not reach his full potential or character as a male, although he may grow taller than expected.
We have 3 intact males and none bonk as much as the bitch, and bonking is part of play for pups and juveniles and the new pup will not mind at all.
It is your choice but your reasons for doing it may not be fulfilled, in fact it could get worse.

the best advice I can give, having been through similar, is talk to your vet.  There is an injection that they can give (sorry cant remember its name) to see if castration would make any difference.  We did this and it did, so he was castrated.  That was 6 weeks ago and we are starting to see changes.  It is not a quick fix and the full results are not seen until about 12-18 months later.  It is your choice and dont be bullied into either option.  Make an informed decision.

well the last two days hes not tried any thing  frisky with me
but at the mo im really ill with some bug! so may be he can sense that  going to see the vet next week when im feeling btter and discuss wit them!

i think havin the puppy has help weve had her three weeks nrly and before any dog he approached   they wuld attck cos  he jumped or would paw them them!  but this afternoon my partner had all our dogs together for an hour and there was not 1 fight before they would not go near him. 
He sems to have learnt not to paw every dog he sees!
