Had a great day out WT training today. Morse has really taken to tracking well and zooms along hoovering up the food, Im getting better at keeping the line in order/focusing the Manic One on the person track, not the deer track and we did a little baby 70 pace track no bends today.  Im also learning how to lay tracks properly myself. He just loves agility, his stays are promising now were outside in a line of other dogs with all the usual countryside distractions ( insects and tourists).  Sendaways were quite good too - straight out and stop on cue, my problem is hurtling up to the marker at MachMorse, a fat forty something in combats with a beet red face must frighten the horses! Best of all is meeting like minded folks who share mistakes and make you feel better about the blips cause they all have em too. Feels like were making progress now.

Oh and the bonus was meeting 2 fantastic Ridgbacks at the indoor riding school. :)

Sounds as if Morse is coming along really well :)

It's such an exciting feeling isn't it, when they start to do the exercises with confidence.

I have had a blip with the long jump (lack of confidence mostly) but am soooo hoping to be ready to compete this autumn....am desperately trying to fit in the training ...... !!!

Are you going to the John Rogerson weekend? :)

Thanks Hannah, have you been busy with your exams n stuff? Morse and I will be training till we die, you know :).

Lindsay, best of luck with the long jump. We are just at the stage of going through the wings without running out but have got as far as 3 or 4 jumps in a row. No, Im not going to the John Rogerson weekend, although its an aspiration. Have fun if youre going and Ill pray for a dry one :D
