Hi there.
My 9 month Wheaten Terrier is fairly long coated and recently her coat has been matting severely around her collar. Her collar is thin (about 1/2 an inch or 1 cm in width) which she has had since she was a pup. We do groom her thoroughly although apparently not thoroughtly enough as this would not have happened.

Is there a collar for long haired breeds that minimises the matting in the coat underneath? Prehaps leather collars are better??
Any advice will be welcome...
