what is everyones opinions on james wellbeloved? I want to feed Max on a good food but vet advises me to feed what he sells and all shops tell me something different whatever they have a back log of probably. I want something I can buy somewhere in town and we dont have arden grange which is the one I had considered after reading about it. My mum feeds her 2 adult gsd james wellbeloved and they are in lovely condition. Max is 9 week old choc lab by the way and I will be slowly changing him from purina pro plan large breed puppy. It is very expensive hard to get round here and he doesnt really like it but ate james wellbeloved with great gusto at my friends the other day when we stayed longer than had planned (she bought max's sister)

If it suits you to use JW then that is what I should do, you like the way your Mums dogs look so give it a try. Have to say it is no doubt every bit as good as the food your vet sells and should cost some what less.

Hi,

I feed my Goldens JWB have done for some years, personally it suits my dogs and me.
Its one of the few foods I would feed. The dogs are in fantastic condition on it and so are their teeth, very little waste out the other end which doesn't smell either.

However it may not suit everyones dogs, the important thing is try foods which does suit your dog and your happy with.Everyone has their own personal favourite
food they would feed, the best guide is to look at your dogs condition and if they look good, fit happy and alert ,hardly trip to the vets, your not going far wrong with the food your feeding.

Good luck in your choice:-)

We do JWB in the morning and raw in the evening.  The girls LOVE it.  When we switched to the JWB they started eating their dry food again with gusto and they look great!
