Hi all,

Anyone know anything about French Bulldogs. Next year my cousin is marrying someone who has one, but next week they are coming down to a family wedding. Bringing the dog too and just wondered.

I know a little as friends of mine show (and occasionally breed) them.  They are very individualisitc, not always good with other dogs - the ones I know cant stand dogs with long ears or fluffy tails.  Not too happy with Pugs either, and often have scraps among themselves.  However, with people they are charming.  Would be wary of them with strange children, as they dont suffer prodding and poking!  (Howeve,r this may be way of base, and a view caused as my firend does not like kids, so could be transferance onto the dogs ;) )  They snore louder than any other breed I have ever met, and I find the almost constant heavy breathing a worry, alsways wondering is something is wrong!

Thanks Gwen your info is similar to what my cousins mom has told me about the dog so I shan't be asking them to leave bring him here to meet Sal. He is apparently "grouchy-short tempered- and snores"

Do a search on here Frenchies have been discussed awhile back :) I think they are charming little dogs kinda like boston terriers in away, just depends how you raise them :)
