i have been trying to buy a bitch puppy long haired chihuahua for a few months and at the moment i am have having no look what so ever. i have telephoned at less 40 breeders and if they have puppies they seem to be holding on either for show or breeding. i have been a dog groomer for 30 years and have always loved this breed but chose to wait till all my children have grown and fled before getting one. can anybody help us as we have tried so many ways to find one. my husband is sitting with me in the library now on the computor next to me in an effort to help me get my little dog. my husbands e-mail is   paddyobeese@yahoo.com

Join the breed clubs and visit some breeders. Go to shows and get to know some of the breeders and ask if your name can be put on their breeding lists.

There are 2 litters advertised on www.pedigreedogs.co.uk. I know nothing of this breed or these litters....so the 'homework' is down to you
