just thought I would post my observations about our pup who I feel is unwell, for any veiws or helpful comments. (we are taking him to the vet, soonest appt tonight though)
Off his food(will eat a bit out of my hand), runny eyes, waxy ears (normally nice and clean), lethargic not playing, drinking lots of water, poos normal, no sickness, had 2nd vaccine 10days ago, temp 99.8 !!!! which is below normal.
I am a bit concerned.

could be a number of things let us know how you get on at the vets ...good luck

since my first post he has only slept, with intermittent wander about , his breathing is a bit juddery( can't think how else to describe it )
saw vet this evening, she gave him an anti inflammatory to calm down any vaccine reaction which was her first thought.She thought he was very subdued and looked as if he had a virus. I have got to take a a urine sample in the morning for her to check his kidney function, from there she says a blood test would be the next step.

He is a very sad pup at the moment.

Urine sample, showed no abnormalities. next step blood test. my gut reaction is that this is a side effect of the vaccine. what do others think. vet says it is a strong possibility, but you can not be sure. have others experienced anything similar after vaccines ?
