Susie died earlier this morning & we`re all so upset. She`d been heavily sedated the past wk so we knew she didn`t have much time left with us.
Her funeral is later today & I just don`t know how I`m going to get thru it. I`m very close with her mum & dreading facing her. They`re all at the morgue now & I`m just waiting for Bern to come back home, he`s had to go to the office to arrange cover for his appts. I`m ok now but think I`ll break down when I get there & I don`t want to.

O Christine :(
I'm so sorry. Perhaps you won't need to face Susie's mum with words but just be able to hug and hug. I hope things go as well as can be expected under the sad circumstances....
Best wishes and so sorry

Hi Christine ,
im so sorry for you , i lost my dear dad in april he died from emesothilioma, it was the worst pain i have ever experienced !
i was his carer and evry day would wash him , feed him ,when he could eat , dress him he was such a strong man who never showed his feelings but the cancer broke him he went down to 5and a half stone , i still miss him very very much and would give anything for him to ring me so i could rush round there, i think of him constantly he too was sedated for the last 4 days , but they can hear everything you say to them i would talk to my dad and he would twitch his hand or when i stroked his hair he would move an eye brow, there is one thing that i will treasure in my heart forever and that is the day befor he was heavily sedated he sat up in bed put his arm on my shoulder and said, i love you , ilove you back i said , he said you would do anything for me , yes i said and you would do anything for me and he nodded it was as if he knew he had to tell me befor he went it still breaks my heart now when i think of it , but you must be strong as i no my dad wouldint want to see me like this .
god bless sarah & molly xx

Sorry to hear your news Christine xx
Thank you everyone, its so kind of you all to remember us at this awful time. It`s really hard right now, losing first our Betty now Susie so close together. My heart isn`t in our new house anymore, neither of them will see tho I`d made video of it so they both saw it developing, and my mum won`t get to see it either as she had a bad turn on the flight when I brought her over for holiday last yr, she`ll not be able to fly again. And we had a ramp built on the side for wheelchair access for Betty & me mum.
Thank you
xxxx
