I am going away in september for 2 weeks can anyone recommend any kennels in or around edinburgh! he is a westie 1 year old and never been left before so i am quite nervous thanks.

The Spinney, Royston, by Bathgate 01506 811075 they charge £9 per day and dogs get fed and walked 3 times per day in woodland area.  I know they are full in July and August but may have availablity in Sept.

Animal Paw Prints, Dolphinton, West Lothian 01968 682368, they charge £8.50.

I have never used these kennels personally as I don't kennel my dogs but my boss uses them for his 2 labs and says they are fantastic.  I have spoken to both kennels recently from a rescue point of view so tell them Claire from Weimaraner Rescue has recommended them.

I can recommend one in Fife if that is not too far away.

A very good freind on mines is the manager and is wonderful with mine ( westies also) if I leave them with her.
