As you know my girl was taken for a scan today and came back as negative, but ive to take her back in a weeks time to be sure.  I have just spent the past hour or so going back over all the scan post on here and im even more worried than if she was pregnant. so many people have had their scans stood up and were with theie girls but mine was laid down and i wasnt allowed to watch.  If it is a phantom pregnancy could the vet tell me so, its just that her nipples are about 1cm and are erect and her back seems to have doubled in width over past couple of weeks, quite afew people have commented on how much broader she is.  I know i will have to wait another week but if that still comes back negative i will still be worried incase they are mistaken and not be prepared if she is!!! i was told that the scanning machine was a new one 6months old!!!!

How long since mating?  maybe it's just a bit too early to actually see pups on the scan?

So she could only be just over 30 days pregnant going by the last mating, if she ovulated late?  Which could be too early to scan, I think I would still take her back in a weeks time to get it done again..............also can't you find another vet to scan her??  So you can see for yourself??

I did phone other vets where I live but they also said its not realy done because of any operations that may be in progress, but i asked them if they scanned stood up or laid down and they said stood up, so i will go back to my vets and ask if she can be scanned stood up.
