Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Show figures
- By Naomi [gb] Date 12.04.02 10:03 UTC
As you all know, I am new to showing. I have just seen on other posts that entry figures are released for Champ shows. Have these figures already been released for the National Working & Pastoral breeds of Wales? If so, is there anywhere on the internet where I can view these figures or would they have already been published in one of the dog papers? Do they break down the entrance figures into individual classes?

Hi Naomi,

The figures are put in the dog papers acouple of weeks before the show. I havn't seen the NW&PBW yet either. they give the amount of dogs entered per breed and the figure in brackets next to it is the amount of entries per breed. This is often more than the first figure because some people enter more than more class. It is not split into dogs and bitches and is also not split into classes. The only way you can find out how many you are up against is to look in the catalogue when you get there. If you are anything like me, you will find you have the entered the class with the most entries in....typical.
