I was just wondering how long it would take for a 2 year old to recover from spaying. I have had dogs spayed before but there were complications(pyometra) and I'd hate to put her at risk of that. Its just that I have a puppy that will be bothering her so obviously I'd need to keep her quiet and safe.

When mine have been spayed they have usually been dozy for 24 hours or so and then needing to be restrained!
