There are plenty of breeders in USA. The biannual National Specialty is on at the moment in Austin Texas. Here is the Norwegian Elkhpound Association of America URL http://www.neaa.com/. this site has links to Regional clubs and breeders and lots of info on the breed! Jackie H and I both have elkhounds in the UK :D In fact I have along with 3 friends just imported a puppy to UK from California.
