Some dogs do snore without there being any problems - but get him checked out just to be sure :)

There could be a throat problem where the muscles haven't developed properly, more than likely it's nothing though.  If everything else seems fine I wdn't worry.

In order to have a holiday and still be with our dogs we brought a caravan and believe me, when a dog snores in a caravan YOU KNOW! ;) I've had them all, ones who snore, ones who get up and wander in the night, one's who feel that when the light is out you wont notice that they have got up on the bed and are laying on your legs and of course, the odd one that you never hear a sound from!

The short answer is, dogs do sometimes snore and just like humans, some snore more thn others. I very much doubt that you have any problem but if you are really worried then I'm sure your vet will be able to put your mind at rest.

Best wishes, John
