I have posted a reply to 'can't get a lie in' asking for help on this subject - I probably should've started a new thread but to save me having to type it all again could you look at it there please if you think you might be able to advise.

Thanks

Matilda,

I haven't got any advice to offer but hope you find some answers soon. It must be so frustrating to do all the "right" things and have your puppy adapt - and then for things to suddenly go wrong overnight!!

Thanks for the sympathetic reply - it is quite frustrating as you say.  I have spoken to various people including her breeder and they suggested 'hormones' as she hasn't had a season yet. I'm also trying a herbal remedy but to be honest nothing seems to make any significant difference.  I'll just have to start again with the alone training.

I have just read your other post and I can see how frustrating it must be for you for this to suddenly develop overnight.  It is what I would expect from a dog that had been home alone when the house had been burgled or a dog that developed a fear of travelling in the car after an accident.  Maybe it is something as simple as a bit of PMT and her hormones or possibly a combination of this and something happening when you were out.  Have you had a look at the information on separation anxiety that Lindsay directed you to on the other thread?  Were there any clues there?
