Hi all had my cavalier dog Jake Done on 22nd june will he get back to being like he was before in time. Had to have him done as we have got bitchs to. he is my sweet boy.

As he is a Cavalier you will probably find that his coat will change from sleek and silky to fluffy (like Candifloss) and will become hardr to groom.

Depending on his age when done he may not develop the look of a male, but may stay a sort of gangly looking stripling, and will also be more prone to putting on weight.  Cavaliers are often overfed by their owners, and as heart problems are common you must take especial care that he does not.

You should be able to see a waist,a dn be able to feel the back ribs and the spine just under a light convering.  Get into the habit of weighing him every month, then any increase hcan be stopped befor it gets out of hand, and dieting will nto be so hard.

agree with brainless... be very careful with diet it's very hard when those big brown eyes beg for food :)
