my staff always seems to have bloodshot eyes.
does any one know why this is??

well providing youve checked the obvious like his collar isnt too tight - Staffys can often get bloodshot looking eyes from pulling on the lead. This should resort to normal though some time later when the lead is taken off

how old is your staffy? maybe you would consider using an harness
i use them on all 4 of my staffies

Just to add that guest may like to join the board as we are only assuming it is connected with pulling on the lead etc.
Are there any other symptoms ? He could have an eye infection for instance.

i have just been talking about the same things with a few friends on a different forum and 1 person thinks it could be the diet.
she thinks that its a build up of toxins from the food (or some thing like that) and recommended fasting the said dog for 24 hours. (depending on how it is feed)

the person with the dog with red eyes done this and his eyes are now clear, so you might want to give that a go.
if it works then you could fast your dog whenever it got red eye.
