Been working on Morse not hunting cats and its going pretty well. We can trot past cats now quite well, and Im working on the instant down to limit his hunting frenzies or hopefully arrest the flight :) This week he found a crow fledgling in the woods and had a right go but I managed to get him off. If I get between him and the prey, then lead him off a distance to cool off the down works to restore order. Thanks for the suggestions about tackling the problem, its still very early days but good results so far. BTW the crow fledgling stalked into the woods unharmed and giving it " YAK" over its shoulder in defiance. They are pretty huge and tough babies them.

Wow I'm sure you will have that tackled in no time, sounds like he is doing really good.....Crow babies are big, I think they are cute little things :)

Copper hunts cats outside his own home but I've found that if there's more than one cat then he's not quite the big brave boy that he makes out.  And very funny the other morning he dragged me through hedges to stalk this cat (that wasn't moving that fast I have to say).  Turned out it was our own Harley ha ha ha.  Ever seen a crestfallen dog???? :D (and a smirking cat :D :D)
