My friends sister is after a GSD papered and both parents must be hip scored what is the adverage price for a bitch pup with all relevent heath checks from a breeder not bothered about it being show quality she just wants her as a pet

From what I've seen on the Champdogs website, I would say the average price would be £400-£500, but that obviously depends on where you live and the pup!

even though you are not looking for a show quality pup I would still go to a 'show' breeder.All breeders...however clever...produce pet quality pups but at least you will get a pup that is health tested and will look like a GSD.
