I think the time has come for me to part with my baby pepsi (aged17) she has altimers and 8 weeks ago she was diagnosed with mammery cancer I was told by the vet she would only have a few weeks to live and did I want to have her put to sleep there and then she was eating  well
As she was in no pain I decided to take her home to spend quality time with her
I joined Champdogs and you where all very supportive   However tonight she seems to be crying differently and is unable to lie down My heart is broken but I will do what is best for her

You know when the time is right. It's the final act of kindness we can do for our old friends, who have never let us down. This is the time we must be strong, and not let them down. It's the hardest thing in the world, but it's not something that can be shirked.

Call the vet, and make her last hours as good as you can make them. Thinking of you.

I know what you're going through as I had to have my old girl put to sleep just over a month ago.  Take care and I'm sure it's the right thing, it's just so hard to make the decision.
