Topic Dog Boards / Health / Giving my dogs massages...

I was watching my two Siberian huskies and thought that with all the running they do during the day, wouldn't they enjoy a massage each night? Joints could be sore and muscles could be tight. I have tried to rub Kieron's shoulders and I believe she simply loves it. When I move toward her neck, she drops her head to her chest, ears back in relaxation, and pretty much encourages me to keep going. But I'd like to give them a proper massage that helps both anxious-ness and sore body parts. Does anyone have any tips or links that could help me give my dogs a simple but well worth it massage?

PS- I have read about TTouch, but I don't think that's an option as it looks as if I would have to travel to someone who knew how to do it. I'd just like to give my dogs massages in my own living room. I believe it would help bond us together more and more.

Thanks so much!

You don't need someone else to give your dog T T ouch massage It is very simple using 1 1/4 circular movements

One of the bonuses is that you build up a raport with the dog you are massaging
