where can i find out about it??
I am currently researching my chosen breeding breed, the leonberger.

I have recieved my copy of "book of the bitch" which i havent yet put down! :P
Its so amazing this book, i was reading through, when i came across breeding insurance, sounds great, but there must be disadvantages!  - as with everything!

so anyone got any experience of it?
or know where i can find out some quotes etc?

thanks
Jayne

Believe you can get medical cover for the bitch in whelp but I don't know of any insurance that will cover you for being sued by puppy purchaser.

Hi the only insurance company I know of that will cover a bitch in whelp or any emergency's arising through pregnancy is www.scotpet.co.uk.
They will cover the cost of a ceaser as long as it was necessary to preserve the life of the bitch, but will not cover any costs regarding the pups. The cost of the policy is roughly the same as other's.
Hope this is useful
