Good choice as long as you still want it once it is a grown up dog. Dogs can be very expensive to own are you sure you can manage the likely vets costs and the mantainance of a large dog, if you can't aford the going rate for a puppy.

I suggest you get one of the soft toys that Andrex can sell you. :D
You surely are just having fun with us when you can't even name the breed of dog you want to osn, so doublt you have reseched the realities of owning one. Honestthey don't talk like the latest Andrex puppy does, or occupy themsleves nicely without any work from their family like the TV dog appears to.

As I don't live in the UK, and here in Switzerland there are no advertisements with puppies in them, I don't know what an Andrex Puppy is. Is the Andrex puppy a Lab? Sorry for asking.

Hello Guest
The puppy you are referring to is a Labrador. They are very cuddly looking puppies but grow into big dogs with big appetites (and not just for food!). I am not that familiar with the breed, but I do know they can be boisterous, greedy, need a lot of exercise and WORK - they are active dogs bred for a purpose. Andrex don't do the breed any favours, and probably cause a lot of harm in promoting cute cuddly puppies and not showing the end result.... bored dog, destroyed house and skint owners from the food bill! :D
Please look into it further before going for one of these pups.
