sibe lover right here LOL :-D , got to be fair though my rough collie x boy has to be my 1st favourite he has been my loyal companion for 10years now even before the kids, then we opted for GSD's, but now after years of waiting we are bringing our sibe girl home next week!! IM SOOOO EXCITED !! i cant wait the days went quite quickly to start off with but now we are down to the last week they are just dragging in :'(   argh!!! got to agree with the erect ears and bushy tails they also have soo much character in their faces, some of the expressions i have seen on the sibies have had me in stitches!!:-D LoL

i like all dogs big/small long haired and short.
my fav is the leo even thou i some times think i must be mad, along with boxers they are so loyal and loving.
i am hoping to get another boxer baby when tob my leo matures one dog at a time  to train is enough.
i would love to breed but i haven't got the space if any of my baby's come back.(leo's) so i won't as i take their welfare for their life serious.
i think you have to own a breed to really know what they are like but i have seen others that i would be interested in.

Congratulations Michelle on the upcoming puppy. I can understand your excitement. The time goes so fast. It doesn't seem long ago I was feeling like you for my Doberman puppy. They grow up so fast so do enjoy.

I love those upright ears too. You can really read their moods easily. I love my Dobe's cropped ears. They're beautiful and it wasn't anywhere close to what people imagine as far as some horrible torture. It's more like getting your ears pierced, albeit a lot, but cartilge nevertheless.

Well, have fun and can't wait to hear about your Sibe when you get her.

Rottweilers for me :-)  They are such fantastic family pets :-)  All ours have been brought up in a family environment and all have been brilliant friends.  So long as they are brought up correctly there isn't any problem with them :-)  If I didn't have a Rottweiler I'd love to give Cane Corso a go.
- By huskymad [gb] Date 08.05.04 10:20 UTC
Sibeluver, im right behind u!!!!!!! My sibes are evrything to me and i couldnt imagine owning a differnt breed, Accept i do love Malamutes, Eskimos, but i think i'd always stick to my sibes! But i am highly bias.
- By jules [us] Date 08.05.04 16:08 UTC
It's got to be labs and weimaraners for me, both different but both brilliant breeds.

GSD's followed by BC's- a few of each of these :-)  A Dalmation and a Scottie dog thrown in for good measure would be nice too though :-D

I have a st poodle and a yorkie, love them both to bits, but after twice meeting the russian black terrier at crufts i am determined to have one ,one day.
For such a large dog i could not beilieve how gentle they were.

Maremma Sheepdogs for sheer beauty and character. Smooth Collies for being the perfect family dog.

...as a little girl we had scotties at home, willful but very sweet.. and I adore Beardies but their big feet and need for large amounts of excercise don't go well with little houses and my lifestyle. But my favourite dog?  ...many years ago I walked into the yard of the kennel I then worked in and saw a little dog in a kennel in the corner..it was stopping off on the way to a show with its handler. I had no idea what breed it was but was so astonished by it I nearly dropped the bowls of dog food I was carrying. After much asking around I found it was a Mini Schnauzer and my love affair with the breed started there. I was given my first one a few weeks later my a kind breeder, that little dog was my friend, confidant and comforter for 16 years and responsible for my meeting my husband who bumped into me in a street and asked what breed the strange little dog was. I have had one ever since and would never have any other breed, like the ancients  I will probably be buried with one :-)
- By Ussher [gb] Date 19.06.04 20:39 UTC
It has to be Old English Sheepdogs!  They are absolutely beautiful and gentle dogs.  Although since ours is still in the puppy stage, he does have mad moments (like they all do)!!
- By priyankar [in] Date 20.06.04 08:34 UTC
GSD and Lab are my fab. :-)
- By britney1000 Date 20.06.04 21:22 UTC
Mine are my favorites, Tibetan Mastiff's Newfoundlands, but they are like gold dust to get hold of a good one at the moments, Dogue De Bordeaux and my Little Lhasa Apso's
- By Helen.D [gb] Date 20.06.04 23:32 UTC
Weimaraners because that's what I have now and life would be just too easy without him :D but I will always love Boxer's. I had two Boxer girls and will never forget them, think once you've had a Boxer, they own you for life.
- By TwoDobies [in] Date 21.06.04 09:29 UTC
Dobes , of course.

Great Danes, of course, as that's what I spent 5 years researching and admiring before I finally got my puppy! But I love all giant breeds - Newfies, St. Bernards, Leonbergers, Pyranean Mountain Dogs, Irish Wolfhounds, Mastiffs...I just love their gentle soppiness coupled with their majestic size. In general, though, I find that I'm attracted to big, lean, muscular, short-haired dogs so I also love Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Hungarian Viszlas, Pointers, Wiemaraners, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Boxers...also love Poodles (standard) and who could resist the face & ears of a Basset Hound? :)

Bullmastiffs but i do adore all the large soppy breeds.
- By BullBoy [gb] Date 28.08.04 17:25 UTC
That is SUCH  a hard question but in my heart of hearts my favourite is probably Bulldogs but i love so many more, staffs, frenchies, cavaliers lol
- By TracyL [gb] Date 28.08.04 18:07 UTC
I waited many years to get my first BC, and I've not been disappointed - now have 2 (:-D), and counting! It's the way they tilt their heads left and right when you talk to them as if they are really trying hard to understand what you are saying that gets me everytime, though I suppose lots of other breeds do this too.
- By polly_45 [gb] Date 28.08.04 18:19 UTC
Mine has to be boxers,  I have to admit im quiet fond of St Bernards and newfies
- By cassie N ollie [gb] Date 29.08.04 00:44 UTC
