Every comment you have made has indeed come from something ive said in my posts..... however you have totally mis-read, and twisted what i have said.
In my first post, which i wrote not half an hour after the incident had happened (and was very shaken and in tears), i am pretty sure i stated that i gave the man my name and address... that was MY suggestion, he was still screaming at me and threatening to call the police and suggesting that if i left i wouldnt come back.
What part of giving someone my address, full name and telephone number suggests im trying to wriggle out of my responsibilities?
Yes, im afraid i DO use humour to protect myself, i find it quite common in a lot of people with low self esteem, or depressive tendancies, such as i have.
Surely the fact that i have posted here, no matter how my post comes across, suggests that i DO want advice as to how i can sort this situation out, and if you had read my first post properly, i did in fact state ' i want advice'.
Maybe i didnt make myself clear about the bichon frise.. as i was leaving the car owners property, a bichon from one of the other houses in the row came running out, and despite me shutting the gate, escaped and followed me FOUR times, each time i returned it, and tried to catch the attention of an adult, but there was no one around.
So yes, i WAS being flippant about 'keeping' the bichon, who HASNT made a joke about keeping a dog thats followed them repeatedly???
As i may have said before, insuring THREE dogs isnt an issue, id only have to insure two as Abby (the dog who caused the damage) is nearly ten, and too old to be taken on by any insurer..... she has only been my dog for about 3 months, and i took her on BEFORE my financial situation changed, or i wouldnt have taken her on at all.
I do care very deeply about the trouble i have caused, that may not come across in type very well, but i do, if i didnt why would i be publicly baring some private and personal details, knowing full well that humourless or uncaring people can have a go at me?
