Hi,
I`m looking for an American Mastiff puppy. I have found a breeder in the USA, but this is of little help here in the UK.
Does anyone know anyone with an American Mastiff (like English Mastiff, but they don`t droole and slober)
Any help or information would be much appreciated, as I would have to train it abroad, before bringing it to the UK, at which point (6 months) it would weigh well over 100lbs.
Please e-mail Oliver at info@srd-bikes.com
Thank you

It would actually be a minimum of 10 months old before it could enter the country if coming in under the Pet Passport scheme.

Any idea why, if they are built the same I wonder why they are different?

Have looked on the AKC site and can find no trace of this breed, can someone help please.
the so called american mastiff was a quick money scheme by a american who tried to cross the eng mastiff i think with a anatolian or so to create a non drooler -but the same breeder is notorious for huge health problems in her dogs plus her american mastiff do drool contrary to wht she says -stay well clear.

Sad to say that is very much as I expected Pyndath. Most breeders of crossbreeds make claims for what they produce and because they are first crosses no one really knows what the dog will be like at all, just empty claims.
