I've been in the wilderness for a few weeks - couldn't log in for some reason.
Had fantastic week in Cornwall last week with Sparky - brilliant cottage and his first time on a proper beach - except for the fact that he broke my finger when he lunged for a football. Needless to say, I now hook my lead over my thumb rather than wrap it round my hand!
Did I read somewhere that Lel has a new pup? Any other new additions? I'm starting to get very broody now!

Hi Tracy, glad you enjpyed your holidays despite the broken finger, must be something in the air as our trainer also has a finger broken in a similar way by catching it in the dog lead. Lots of new additions, just not for us. sigh. :) Did Sparky like swimming or digging the sand best?

My 6 month old gsd loves swimming and digging at the beach. Unfortunateley last time she did this she got cystitus the next day. Don't know if there was any connection?

Jumping the waves and shouting as loud as he could! ;)
Loved the beach, especially on the one foggy day we had - so funny - best heelwork he's ever done as he kept losing me at four paces!
Wasn't quite brave enough to let him off his long line when people were around though, or until I realised there was no way he'd be going in that water, thank you very much. He's such a poser I reckon he was scared of messing his hairdo up!
