I am willing to re-home a young adult Deerhound. I ahve a suitable house and grounds and have been a successful re-homer in the past.

Have you tried contacting the deerhound rescue? The Deerhound club has a dedicated team for helping to rescue and rehome dogs, I'm sure they'd like to hear from experienced owners, willing to take on a new companion.

This may help the Deerhound is not that common but I am sure the Club will be pleased to hear from anyone wishing to re-home.
