I blame Gerrard too, WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!, Becks should never have taken the penalty (although i do NOT blame him for missing) he used to practice with Barthez so he can read becks like a book!! Rooney should never have been taken off especially for Heskey!

I don't follow football but it amazed me today that everyone who was looking forward to the England v France game were saying,'WE can beat them,WE have a good team,WE play so well,WE already have it in the bag' and today those same people were saying 'THEY lost it,THEY played to lose,THEY never stood a chance France played so well.' How quickly England 'WE' became 'THEY' because the team lost :D

Why??

Why is it that when England get a lead in any game, they start getting complacent and pass back to the goalie and up to the front and then back to the goalie and so on, so forth.  Whatever happend to attack, attach and attack to win for 90 mins.  I saw the French goal coming for a longtime unfortunately England did'nt.  As for the penalty and in Extra time 'what a throw away' No discipline.

Come on you lot, most of you sound like the English press!!!  Blame Gerrard, blame Heskey...Hey lets blame Sven for bringing off the one lad that was running at the french while the rest were backed into their own half...Lets not :)  We were beaten by the best player in the world...Lets not jump on the bandwagon, Gerrard is an amazing player who could win the next game for us or even the next world cup..Heads up - battle on..
