My girl gave birth 4 wks ago and they are all lovely, What sex would be better to live with i feel that i get on with the dogs better than the bitches and already have 2 dogs and my bitch but would like to keep a pup i feel another dog would be better because the bitch it already top dog in the household would anybody agree with this or am i wrong i feel that another bitch would be alot to handle as my bitch can be stubborn Please Help me!!!    Also when should they be drinking water as they have been weaned on mince since 2 wks and on puppy mix and a little mince since 3wks but cannot get them to try a little water  What age should they do this?

Given a free choice (lucky you!) keep the puppy you like best. I have kept a bitch from one litter and two dogs from the second litter, and mum is still the boss, no arguments!

As for drinking water, make sure it is always available, and their mum will introduce them to it.

hard choice but nice when you have one ..... I bred for a black and tan  cavalier i got 2 and a ruby bitch as well ...but now i am looking at the ruby over he others
