Does anybody know of a siberian husky breeder in the Wigan area called Melanie (sorry, I don't know her surname).

Back in 2002 my partner and I bought a 6 month old black/white bitch from a couple who could no longer keep her or her brother who was red/white. We worked out that they would've been from a litter born around the end of September 2001.  Our bitch was originally named 'Peeka' by the breeder, her name was then changed to Meeshka.
We were told that she should've been KC registered but due to person reasons the breeder hadn't gotten round to it, but always said that she would do it later as the couple wanted to race the pair of dogs they had bought. 
We too want to compete now and that's why I'm keen to see if there's any possibility of tracking the breeder down to sort out the paperwork, or at the very least find out what lines our girl is from.  She is very petit and 'pretty', very fast but strong with a gentle personality.

Has the breeder moved house since you got your pup from her? don't you have a contact number for her? sorry, i know quite a few breeders, but none with that name. contact the SHCGB, i think you can race huskies that aren't registered, but theyd know more than i do! i'm sure they let you race huskies from welfare, and there's no way of knowing if they're KC registered or not.
