i took peoples advice about taking her out at all the times you say, however my pup (10 weeks old, and ive had her 3 weeks) gets a bit confused still, she had 3 clean days and then 2day its all gone pearshaped but that happens. however before that, i was having the same problem as you, staying outside for ages and ages, upto a couple of hours, then we would go inside thinking that i would take her out again in five mintues and then she would wee just inside the door, so now i put her lead on, so she cant get back in, and wait with her, she does cry to go back inside but i just play with her outside to distract her from that and then she will wee outside. she is slowly getting the idea, but i sympathise with you, because i also thought i was getting no where.
just thought this would interest you, i saw an article somewhere on the net which said it can take upto 2 months to house train a pup, and even then you will get accidents because they do make mistakes
gud luc and have fun with ur pup
