Did anyone else see the transit of venus yesterday? :)

OH and i were in the garden at 8am with our binoculaurs and piece of white card and saw it perfectly!!!

(OH then nicked the binoculaurs (sp?) to take to work so I didn't see the last bit of it at just after noon).

It was great though - just a little dark spot but it kind of sent a few shivers down my spine knowing this amazing event was taking place ;)

Now I know that Beagles will take a message and get back to you .....eventually - but you have to agree that THAT beagle's recall is absolute rubbish :D :D :D

I saw it with binocs and paper at about 11ish. Not quite as spectacular as the eclipse but more special (if that makes sense) with it being a rarer event. :)
