I know that there is a long waiting list for one,very happy to wait. time to learn more on breed.  thanks for any help that you can give.

yes there is a long waiting list,i waited 5 years for my swd,and watch thebreed grow for 8year before getting gollie/

I live in Manchester and was one of a group of four people who originally imported them.  you can email me on     spanishwaterdogs@supanet.com    and I will try and answer any queries etc.  What other dogs do you have, have had in the past? 

Terri bought Gollie off me and as she says has watched the breed grow in this country.  They are a wonderful breed but are very intelligent and need their brains to be worked.  They also need to be socialised from a very young age.

I don't know where you live but we have water training tomorrow in Sale.

For some reason wouldn't let me edit my previous post so I just wanted to say, make sure that the SWD is KC registered and not DLRC, make sure that you get something in writing regarding this too!!   Most breeders sell them for around £600.00.
