we have an ebt who wants to play for england the only trouble is while he loves chasing the ball round the garden within mins he bites straight through it then walks up to me very proud with the flat ball in his mouth and he would love to get hold of all those other footballs down the park  :o) i have seen a tv program ages ago they had a ball this size just for this problem a hard plastic one but alas my local pet shop just shrugs never heard of it can any one help please its costing me a fortune :)

It's called a Boomer Ball and you can get it from the Company of Animals.  You would need to limit his time with it though because it can make their nose a bit sore if they play obsessively for too long - especially an EBT, I would think. :)

thanks for that and your right if he plays to long he gets a red nose now so we have to take it off him ....if it lasts that long :)

Also wears down the teeth of an EBT so use it for about half an hour a day then take it away from the dog.

As the ball is made from solid plastic the dog will constantly try to bite or chew it and when it rubs against the dogs teeth it wears them down.
