hi all
im looking for a stafford Stud in a few months and i would love to find a red pied or white.  i have a red bitch that is 2.5 years and has been eye tested clear.  she is about "14.5 tall so i am looking for a dog a little taller then her.  she is well breed and althought i dont show (yet) i have been told by ppl that have and still do that she would do will in the ring.  i would like to find a dog that is in the ring and doing well, as i want to keep a bitch pup to show. (i know that even if both perants where CH then they might not have show quality pup's).  the stud would have to go well with my bitch in looks and pedigree but would like to chat with a few ppl with Pied's

thanks all
ps im in S. Wales and would love to find something within about 200 miles

Hi Guest
there are some quality red and red pied dogs out there . Is your bitch KC registered ?
If you join you can discuss what "type" of stud you are looking for :)
- By sammyanne [gb] Date 26.05.04 22:29 UTC
hi Lel
yes she is Kc reg and here are a few dogs out of her pedigree (if that helps)
Ch bowtmans red october
Ch Boldmore Finbar Furry
CH Lancstaff Sparbu Saga
Ch Rocellio Rip Van Winkle
CH Rogue Saga
Ch Teutonic Warrior
Ch Wallace the Wizard
Ch Jackstaff Prima Donna
Ch the malaser mauler
Am Ch Chainmakers Samsung of Rikamia
and there are more but i cant remember off hand.

the type i like is a little taller then my bitch, with a good size head but not to big, i also like a deep chest.  i do not like the short fat type. but 1 that looks like it could do what it was breed for.  hope this is a little help

Hi Sammyanne
nice reds include Ashstock by Jupiter/ Jackstaff Fascination/Staffmaster Flashpoint
nice red pies include Herodotus Sodamtuff/Brideltown Noble Prince of Beraka/Herodotus Pied Piper/
to name but a few :)
try doing a google and seeing if theres any you like - alternatively speak to your bitches breeder who may be able to suggest the most suitable lines for your girl

Hello Sammyanne,

The dogs Lel has suggested are all good dogs an idea maybe to have a look at the shows and see some of the dogs you may be choosing from especially as you want to show your pup. :)

This might be an idea for you as your in Wales.
The South Wales Championship show is on the 12th July at Mount Ballam  Crick Nr. Chepstow,
the contact number 01222 753584 - Mrs Dyke.

A lot of the Dogs Lel mentioned will be there, Ch Jackstaff Fascination is the father of both Ashstock By Jupiter and Staffmaster Flashpoint.

Hope this helps; Karen :)

hi both

i have been in touch with Ashstock By Jupiter's owner already and at the moment he is top of the list and i have also been in touch with Steph Halifax and the owner's of Herodotus Sodamtuff JW (who is second on the list)  i know i should be looking to make the list shorter lol but i would really like to find a good pied.  and want to give myself a few to pick from ;).

thanks Karen
i will be going to the The South Wales Championship show.  so finger's crossed i can speek to a few ppl in person

thanks

i thought that i read somewhere that he died a few years ago.  its a big shame

does any 1 know if any of his son's are in the ring, or have been showed, i have tried to find out but come up with nothing so far,
(i would be happy to find any of his pup's to take to ppl)

Herodotus Sodamtuff (red and white pied)
Dazzling White Lad (white with tiger brindle markings on back)
Wiltshire Red Gentleman (red white one white foot)
Bridletown Noble Prince of Beraka (red and white pied)
Bekanbar Bo Jangles (white white red markings)
Staffmaster Equilibrium (red with white chest)
Bullmitz Bon Jovi (white with black markings)
Lord Fagin at Denagar (fawn white white chest and feet)
