hi a friend of a friend breeds dogs and is planning on breeding a girl he kept from his last litter with his dog...........who is the girls dad!!!
surely that is WRONG?? when i asked him about it he said it doesnt matter with dogs and sort of laughed me off, i still think that isnt right. can he be allowed to do that??

It has been done with excellent results by people who KNOW exactly what they are doing etc but in general is not practised.

Depends entirely on the breeding behind the dogs involved and the breeder's knowledge of it! Could be a brilliant mating but with ignorance could be an absolute disaster.

someone i knew did the same once, result was 10 pups, 4 didnt make it because of 'problems'.
i dont think it should be done
