I've brought a very long, bias cut skirt for 'hot' days at work (being in the public sector we don't get air conditioning. :D ). I haven't a clue what shoes to wear with it though, as I'm really a trouser-suit person. Sandals? Heels? Pointed strappy shoes? Those kind of half shoe things, with the backs cut out? I'm lost, please help!

In the shop they do this style in a myriad of colours!
I am envious as I would love to wear shoes like this to work. The terrain dictates flatties or sensible, wellies and boots in the winter!
Sorry can't get the link to work.

Hi Jo19 ..not sure is this your age :-) ...cos I think it makes a difference to the type of shoes you may wish to choose also the kind of job you are doing and if you are on your feet a lot..I wear long skirts to work all the time being 'of an age' not to care what is popular at the moment but wear what I like best. I think pretty flat backless sandles look nice with long skirts and they are cool .. being an oldie I wear 'Echo' leather shoes and sandles myself, I have to be on my feet until midnight so comfort counts. :-P
Hope you find somthing nice!

As a teacher I wear skirts like that all the time. I am 5ft 8ins so that makes a difference. At this time of year I wear flat or small heel sandals (of a fashionable nature), I also wear mules that are fairly pointy at the toe. I wouldn't wear any type of closed shoe or anything chunky!
I usually buy shoes at Next or look there and then see what's available in other shops that is similar.

In the winter the same style skirt can be worn with long boots with high heels. To 'glam' the skirt up try higher strappy sandals with a thin heel and something sparkly.
