ive been reafing the threads on here regarding Autarky and decided to try mine on it. THEY LOVE IT!!!!!  Their coats are in great condition, minimum output after meals (if you know what i mean lol) and they never get fed up with the same food every month.
I was wondering what you all pay for it. I just paid £34 today for 2 15kg sacks and was wondering if i could get it cheaper? What you you guys pay for it?
Any replies appreciated.

i think you will find loads on this if you search for autarky, as it was discussed a little while ago, i by ours 10 bags a time at our nearest cash and carry (bookers in exeter) and we get it for 9.99 a bag, our local pet shop sells it for 13.95 both 15kg bags,

i did get an extra bonus this week, as when you bought a 15kg bag from bookers you had a free 2.5 kg bag! so we have loads, the small bags being ideal for the OH who has gone to supadogs agility week with some of our lot!

I live in North Wales and our local pet shop sells 15kg bags for £11.99.  I've also bought it from elsewhere using delivery, and that was £11.99 a bag as well, so I think what you paid is a bit over the usual price.

Doesn't it say VAT exempt, so why the difference in price?  I tried it last week and I also have to say that my dogs adore it :d

£11.49 for 15kg from our local animal feed wholesaler.  If you phone Autarky they will be able to give you details of your local stockist and the prices they charge.  They recommended someone just a little bit further but a whole lot cheaper (11.49 rather than 14.99) and are helpful in all other matters too.

Its done good for mine!

Yes it's VAT exempt - it must be just up to each seller what they charge, though you'd think Autarky themselves would have a recommended amount or something.  Another food I've had for one of my dogs was Wafcol, and the two pet places I looked at buying it from had a price difference of £10!

Is it good for gaining weight and condition?

It is the only food that I have ever given my dog that has made him gain weight and he loves it too.  Both of mine have lovely coats on it.

Oh right, Sounds good. My two are blowing their coats terribly just now, i wouldn't get 50 pence for either of them lol

I've changed Anton's food to Autarky plus meat etc. and he's only been on it for a week and although he was starting to put on weight today someone came up to me and said isn't he solid and nice and chunky!!

I don't agree with the chunky bit as he still needs to put weight on but he is looking a lot better.  I also have to say that I'd run out of my usual food and put my two dogs on this and they had absolutely no problems.  This is not something that I would normally do or advise but they were fine on it.
