what do i need to include with the puppies when they go to their new homes?

As well as KC Transfer docs also include details of when pup was last wormed and when next lot is due - defleaing info - as well as puppy diet . What pups fed on and at what times. Also all your contact details should the new owneers want to chat to you over pups progress :)

On a personal note we also received a small picture of the litter with Mum :) and a piece of vetbed from the litter.Plus documentation for the free 6wk insurance through Petplan. Also we had her microchipped as the breeders offered to do this, but that was our choice not a condition of purchase :)

Forgot to add also include pedigree information if the new owners dont already have this :)
As Porkie mentions vetbed is also nice to take with puppy as it will still have mums scent on. We also recieved a pack of puppy food too :)

Plus, information about the breed, diet, training and specific breed requirements (no climbing stairs, grooming etc).

A letter for the new vets including pup's name, date of birth etc, when it was wormed and innoculated if necessary.  Any health testing results on pup, parents health results, what pup has been fed  so far.

Depending on what you are feeding food for a 5-14 days.  Bottle of Water.

I think a bottle of water is very much overlooked...............................

I try6 and remeber to give a bottle of water as this can be a cause of upset tummies, a change in water.

Mine are all sent off tattooed, and have cotton webbing adjustable half check collars which should last until around 5-6 months of age.  A catalogue for dog equipment with the correct leads and recomentded items highlighted, Vet bed, food, pedigree, KC registration, Insurance, pictures of parents.

Oh forgot to add that I like tro give the BVA leaflets describing the Hip and Eye Schemes.  Not much point them knowing the results without knowing what they mean :D
