i didnt used to like these dogs, and was a little bit frightened by them.
But i met some the other day, and couldnt believe how friendly they were.
The owners said how they are really affectionate and loyal.

Yes. They are terrific family dogs.

If they licked you too death too then yep thats Staffies :)

Staffies are renowned for being incredibly affectionate and loyal and fantastic with kids.  That's why they're sometimes called the 'nanny dog' :)

Staffs are the best! When I was young I had labs and collies but once I had a Staff that was it - I'm hooked! They're people dogs and love kids.
