Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Dinner tonight or not?

Barney has just been sick, it looked like he had eaten some green leaves :(  Should I feed him as normal this evening (Burns) or should I wait until tomorrow morning before giving him anything?  He seems to be fine.

Worried Jax :(

Has he possibly eaten grass??

Yes, they have cut the grass in the local park, not raked it up and he was rolling in it!!!!!

Then don't panic. Give him his dinner :)

Sorry i know its a bit late but "cut"grass is really bad,so avoid it at all costs if your dog likes eating grass.Last year we were supposed to have pony rides at our kids summer fete, but because the council had just cut the grass the owners of the ponies wouldnt even get them out of the horse box,as for some reason cut grass can really upset there stomache and would imagine its the same for dogs.I think it is because the grass starts to rot once its cut.

Grass mowings are not good for horses as they start to heat and "ferment" which causes colic.  I would not let dogs eat the stuff either.

Eating grass is something a lot of dogs do especially spring grass as it is sweet; the only caveat would be to ensure that it was not next to roads (covered in fumes) or had been recently sprayed.
