when you are going to a show,any type of show, do you do things in the same order every time, i mean from getting the dog ready,to packing the bag to putting on lucky socks from washing your hair to painting your toenails, what do you do that when you think about it makes you laugh.
My daughters say i always go for that special bath the night before a show anyone listening to them would think i only go in the bath before a show LOL,

I spend the entire evening before nagging hubby to pack the car and he usually waits til it starts to rain or about 11 o'clock (whichever comes first). Only when the car is packed do I relax enough for a soak in the bath.

near enough everythings the same...dogs bathed night before, no hot water left for a shower so have one in the morning...car gets packed in the morning when we are ment to leave...always leave late...always arrive at show on time!!!...then its brush dogs...leave them to sleep (cage car or bench, depending on show and carparking and time of year!!!) talk to lots of people...go in ring, rushing finding leads etc...go in ring and proptly back out again with nothing...ok not always nothing...then its talk again...then go home and moan about the judging.....lol

Night before a show I go in the bath, can't relax, keep thinking of what I need to pack. Get out of the bath and check the show bag. Do I have the dog's lead, water bowl, brush, comb, ring clip, blanket, towel....,pen........ok I've forgotten something. What? Did I bath the dog? Is his hair flat? Panic, panic..........Go to bed, can't sleep. Get up and have a drink. Go back to bed.Eventually fall asleep...............and wake up after a couple of hours. Did I pack everything? Oh s*d it, if it isn't packed it doesn't matter. Go back to sleep. Wake up and find I've overslept! Mad rush to get the door on time. Then arrive at the show with HOURS to spare. Could have stayed in bed a bit longer.
