My daughter went to the sale in Dundee today as her brother wanted a bike so he could cycle to work. After she'd bought one she had to wait to get it out (they'd leant the bikes against one another). Some rings came on sale. One of them was my mum's engagement ring Jenni had inherited. The ring had been stolen last year! She now has it back in her possession. How lucky can anyone get? :D She couldn't speak for a few minutes when she phoned me. She kept bursting into tears.

Goddness me, that is fantastic. Definate act of fate. I bet your mum is overwhelmed.
My mum died 15 years ago and I firmly believe she had something to do with her ring being returned. :D
I can't believethat it happened. My daughter was so overwhelmed she even phoned again when she had got over the shock. She thought she knew who had stolen it in the first place, but couldn't prove it. She didn't report the theft at the time as the ring isn't worth anything, just sentamental value. We're just so glad it's back. :)
