In the last few weeks Becks has decided he doesnt like other dogs.  Its got to the point that if approcahed by one he will be jumping up for me to lift him up, I dont.  He hasnt had a bad experience with a dog so I just dont understand.  He has been well socialist with dogs and humans alike.  He's not aggressive when he see a dog infact he the exact opposite.  Why is he doing this? I wish he could talk so I could ask him!!

How old is your dog????  This is important information to know because puppies go through times called "fear periods".  it sounds like your dog is going through one.  what i would do if i were you, is continue to socialize him to people and dogs, but DO NOT push him.  if he is uncomfortable, DO NOT coddle hiim, but at the same time don't force him into a situation.  when he comes upon another dog, say things like "good boy becks, its okay becks"......say these things in a nice, calm, normal tone and give him a few treats as he aproaches another dog, or something he would find uncomfortable.  don't be too exciteable, just comfortable.  this way, he is associating seeing new dogs or whatever with a good treat and a good word from you.  even a well-socialized pup can have set backs where they are afraid.  you just have to continue working with it.  im sure he will be okay, as long as you keep up with socializing and training.  good luck!
