.....2 Goats :D :D A doe aged 2 & half & a little one aged 4mths :) The doe is from Castellar & little one is from the farmer over the road from us. The kids terrified of us but the older ones really friendly & follows us around & the little one follows her :D she`s coming round slowly tho ;). Managed the milking with the goat man last night but today I`ve been useless!!! Only managed to get about a glass full from her, took me all afternoon & I`m shattered now  Just waiting for the farmer to come over to milk her for us when he finishes work, I`ll be dead embarassed. Mind did better than OH, he never managed any & all he could say was well do it the same as you did yesterday, won`t tell you what I said to him ;) :D  I even had the book stuck on the wall with instructions but no joy....it aint as easy as the book makes it out to be tho

Christine, Spain.

Oh anyone know of good places to buy cheese kits with good instructions, assuming I will get the hang of milking one day & want to make cheese :D
ps what about some name suggestions folks??

You will have to invite me over - I can milk goats!!  My first job when I left school was on a rabbit and goat farm and it was a twice daily job for me for ages

My turn to give you a link Smallholding Supplies :)
