Think you have left it too late to find a stud and check out his suitability and health test results and still have time to get a mating. My advice would be to leave it for this season, and then find a suitable stud for the next season. Start with approaching the bitches breeder for advice and if that is not possible the breed club, make sure your bitch has the results of her health tests up to date and that they are good, have your bitch assessed to make sure she is of good enough quality and make sure there is not a breeding restriction on her registration. Then, of course, you need to do the same with any stud you find.
