At around tea time this evening my OH went for a drink on the water front with some of his pals. I picked him up tonight and he told me that he was refused entry to the pub because he was wearing an England top. In actual fact he was wearing a white 1982 olympic tracksuit top. The problem? It had a small union jack logo on the front! He explained it wasn't an England top but he was still made to tie it around his waist. The world has gone mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Read in one of the local papers recently that a whole lot of bars/clubs in Newcastle wont admit anyone wearing Burberry! Wonder what would happen if cherie Blair turned up in one of her Burberry outfits?
bye

personally i dont see whats wrong with letting these people in because other people cause fights just cos your dressed a certain style does not mean your going to cause trouble

Last year for fathers day, and because of the world cup, I bought my dad a nice smart polo shirt with a small England Logo on it. My mum and dad went for a sunday afternoon stroll and ended up giong in a local bar for a drink. One of the doormen, tapped my dad on his shoulder and said you can not come in here wearing that, my dad laughed and carried on, ' no you really can't come in' was the reply. My mum looked at my dad and said 'come on you hooligan lets go. My dad is 67. They could see the funny side, but so annoying after all, we do live in ENGLAND

its probably a football hooligan point in the bar but the flag :( is seen as racist too its a real shame we cant show our flag with pride and get hasseld for it , bout time these people grew up and realise this is our country and will fly our flag ,
footy hooligans have made it look cheap . but it still should be shown with pride :) ,

Its just unbelievable, a small union jack logo on an adidas olympic tracksuit top - being worn in England, I'm amazed. So many other things that people would find offensive like the french connection UK (FCUK) campaign? Better be careful, I'll have a certain national party trying to recruit us!
