Does anyone with a BC have him/her professionally groomed and trimmed? I have been grooming Spice almost daily and she loves it,now :D but her coat is now beginning to change from puppy fur to the adult coat,much denser and thicker! Do you think she would benefit from a professional groom and if so how often do you think it would be necessary each year?

Sorry if I seem a bit 'dim' on the subject,but our previous dog was a collie x and her coat was quite different from Spice so she was trimmed about twice yearly and had her coat cut short for the summer months.

I know Spice wouldn't have her coat actually cut short,but do you think they should be thinned out or trimmed up in any way?
