I am having  a bit of a bad time at the moment, and my 3 girlies, Poppy, Daisy and Candy seem to be well aware of it!!Poppy who's 7 keeps bringing me all her toys and putting them on my lap, Daisy (3) keeps sitting right next to me all the time and my baby Candy who's only 5 months is constantly licking me all over, but mostly on my feet.I am soo grateful i've got them all to cheer me up, aren't dogs the best!!:)

My boy Jack whos 6 m onths brings me all his toys too if I'm feeling poorly.  Poppy just stands on my chest and dribbles on my face but then she does that anyway!! Hope everything turns out ok x

Hi Candie

Mine sense moods too and are a comfort when I'm feeling low.  They vie with each other to sit on my knee and the one that isn't on it sits beside me and gazes adoringly :)

I hope whatever circumstances that are making you feel bad resolve quickly and you feel brighter soon :)

Candie,

I hope things will look up for you soon. It is nice, isn't it to have such faithful friends there. Yes, my dogs seem to notice my moods and each one shows it in a different way from the other...very cute. I get excessively licked and pawed by my Chi and my Dobe. The Lab just looks at me and wags and stands close to me. My Chi mix brings me something and wags his whole body furiously as if to say, "come on Mom....it's not all bad. Look! You've got me don't you." LOL.

Let us know if we can help. Hope you feel better soon.

By the way...I love your dogs' names. I especially think Poppy is about the cutest name I ever heard. Just saying her name and hearing it must cheer you up....especially when she looks up at you.

Hope you're feeling better.

They are sweet dogs. I love the way they dont pester you with " whats wrong?" or " what are you thinking?" just lean on you ( Morses version of a hug). Morse is a typical teenager, he sees moods as they impact on him. Playful happy people are best, if he hears raised voices he makes himself scarce and avoids that cross person for a while, an AH AH must mean hes gone too far and should be appeasing cute puppy asap. If a child cries though, he must go to it and lick it better.

(((((()))))) to sad people. Keep stroking the dogs, its good for you.

Hiya Candie sorry your having a bad time at the minute:( , dogs IMO can definitely sense your mood Jazz knows when I am ill or upset as he gives me his paw continually never leaves my side .  If iI am upset and crying and someone else comes near me hew jumps in the way.  You are so right dogs are the best :D
